Developing strong evidence based strategies to deliver equitable oral health services and education is a priority for COHS.

COHS monitors the implementation of population health-based oral health prevention initiatives and public oral health service delivery in NSW.

COHS is committed to working with key partners to develop innovative models for best practice to improve the oral health of children at an early age. This involves actively seeking the support of, and forming partnerships with general health professionals.

This activity was originally developed as a collaboration between Centre for Oral Health Strategy (COHS), NSW and the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP)

This 1 Hour activity aims to enhance the Child Health Professionals ability to identify, prevent and manage early childhood caries and provide ideas to support the engagement of caregivers in optimising childhood oral health. The activity may be useful for any professional involved in primary care. The efforts of Child Health professionals can make a vital difference to the oral and general health of children.
